PCC's Global Reach: Bolivia Ranks Third in Members Exiting Brazil

A recent investigation by the Ministry of Public Affairs of São Paulo reveals the extensive international presence of Brazil's Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC), one of the largest and most dangerous criminal organizations. According to the findings, Bolivia stands as the third country with the highest number of PCC members who have originated from Brazil. The report indicates that Bolivia hosts 146 PCC members, with 75 currently incarcerated and 71 at large. Paraguay leads the global distribution with 699 members, followed by Venezuela with 656. Overall, the PCC boasts over 2,000 members dispersed across 28 countries worldwide, primarily engaging in drug and arms trafficking. The investigation underscores the transnational nature of organized crime and its implications for regional security.
