La Paz, Bolivia – A recent survey conducted by UNITEL Bolivia sheds light on the demographic profile of undecided voters ahead of the 2025 presidential elections. The findings indicate a significant portion of the electorate remains uncommitted, with distinct characteristics emerging among those considering blank or null votes. According to the survey, 53% of those considering a blank vote are women. Within this group, 61% are between 29 and 60 years old, 42% have a secondary education level, and 30% reside in La Paz and El Alto. For null votes, the profile is also predominantly female at 53%, with 38% aged between 29 and 44, 49% having secondary education, and 35% living in La Paz and El Alto. For the broader category of undecided voters, the survey reveals an even split between men and women at 50%. A notable 34% of these undecided individuals are between 45 and 60 years old, with half having completed only primary education. Geographically, 32% of undecided voters are located in Santa Cruz. The report further highlights that while 41% of those considering a blank vote might change their minds, a significant 59% are firm in their decision. Similarly, 28% of null voters could change their stance, but 72% are resolute. These insights underscore the dynamic nature of voter sentiment as the election cycle progresses.
