Taylor Farms Recalls Salad Kits Due to Undeclared Allergens
Taylor Farms has announced a recall of its salad kit, which was sold in 25 different states. The recall is over undeclared allergens.
Urgent Food Recall Issued for Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit Over Undeclared Allergens An urgent food recall has been announced for the Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit, citing the presence of undeclared sesame and soy allergens. The recall, initiated by Taylor Fresh Foods, stems from a prior recall by Latitude 36 Foods, LLC, which supplied components for the salad kits. The affected products were widely distributed across 22 U.S. states, including Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia. Consumers are being advised to immediately check their refrigerators for the recalled salad kits. Identified by code dates beginning with "TFRS" and a "Best If Used By" date up to and including September 4, 2025, these products pose a serious health risk to individuals with sesame or soy allergies. "Serious allergic reactions are possible," warned a spokesperson for USA Recalls, an organization that disseminates real-time recall alerts. "Do not consume these products." The presence of undeclared allergens can lead to severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Consumers who have purchased the recalled salad kit are urged to dispose of it immediately or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Further information and real-time updates are available through the USA Recalls mobile application.
