Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan – Residents and visitors at the Solnechny Sanatorium in Petropavlovsk reported severe flooding throughout parts of the facility on June 20, 2025. A video captured from inside the sanatorium shows rooms with floors completely submerged in water, reflecting furniture and walls. According to an eyewitness in the video, the flooding began in the morning, and the first report was made at 12:55 PM. Despite the ongoing situation, the individual states that no measures have been taken to address the water accumulation. Concerns were also raised about the basement level, where medical procedures are reportedly conducted, as it is also experiencing water ingress. The extent of the damage and the impact on sanatorium operations remain unclear, but the video highlights a pressing issue requiring immediate attention from facility management or local authorities.
