Dubioza Kolektiv to Perform in Oroslavje on August 16th, Mayor Announces Town's Progress
Oroslavje, Croatia – The town of Oroslavje is set to host a major musical event, as the renowned band Dubioza Kolektiv is scheduled to perform on August 16th. Mayor Viktor Šimunić made the announcement, highlighting the concert as a culmination of the town's progress over the past four years. In a recent statement, Mayor Šimunić reflected on the significant changes since he took office. "Four years ago, when I took over the City, we didn't have performers in the square. We didn't even have renovated changing rooms, new playgrounds, or a recycling yard. And a kindergarten was just a dream. We had financial difficulties and finger-pointing," he stated. "Today, after four years of dedicated work in all segments, from infrastructure to culture, we have the most important thing: YOUR TRUST. You recognized that it is possible when there is no stealing. And you rewarded that." The upcoming concert featuring Dubioza Kolektiv is part of a series of three major acts coming to Oroslavje this summer, with the band being one of the largest. The mayor emphasized that this marks a significant milestone for the region. "Because we are, after all, a small town for big things," he concluded, inviting residents and visitors to the event.
