A man claims to have received a 7,500 Euro fine for parking in a restricted area within the Picos de Europa National Park. The individual, who identifies himself as a real estate professional, stated the fine was issued after he drove a short distance past a 'no vehicle' sign, which he interpreted as allowing access for farm-related activities. He expressed his belief that the penalty was disproportionate to the alleged infraction of driving approximately 100 meters on a path to access a property. The man stated he intends to challenge the fine with the regional environmental authority.
