Elderly Man Brutally Robbed of Gold Necklace in Buccinasco; Carabinieri Investigate

BUCCINASCO, ITALY – An elderly man was violently assaulted and robbed of his gold necklace by four young individuals on Saturday afternoon, around 6:45 PM, in Via San Marino, near the Via Emilia commercial center in Buccinasco. According to initial reports, the victim was riding his bicycle when he was ambushed from behind. The assailants, described as approximately twenty years old and of foreign origin, repeatedly kicked and punched the man before forcibly taking his gold necklace. Fortunately, the elderly man did not sustain any severe injuries during the attack. Following the robbery, the four suspects quickly fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle. The victim's son later recounted the traumatic incident on social media, expressing profound shock and dismay over the loss of the family heirloom. He also issued a public appeal for increased vigilance and caution, particularly among the elderly, to prevent similar occurrences. Local Carabinieri forces have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are actively working to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for the assault and robbery.
