    Man Shot Outside His Home in Santa Cruz; Police Investigate

    SANTA CRUZ, Bolivia – A 35-year-old man was reportedly shot and wounded as he exited his home in the Urubó area, near the municipality of Porongo, in Santa Cruz. The incident, which occurred on July 13, 2025, involved three unknown assailants who, according to preliminary reports, approached the victim on a black motorcycle and opened fire. Neighbors reported hearing three gunshots, which alerted authorities. Police units were dispatched to the scene and have initiated an investigation into the shooting. The Public Ministry has also been notified and is coordinating efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack. Authorities are actively searching for the three suspects, who remain at large. The victim's condition has not been officially released, but the focus of the investigation is to apprehend those responsible for the violent act.
